Revoke Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Permissions
If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to African Lions Tours, you can revoke our access directly from your Meta account settings. This immediately stops us from accessing any data through the Meta Graph API.
Step-by-Step Guide to Revoke Permissions
Open Facebook Settings
Log in to your Facebook account. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner, then select “Settings & Privacy” → “Settings”.
Navigate to Business Integrations
In the left sidebar, click “Security and login” (or “Privacy Center” on newer layouts), then find and click “Business integrations”. You can also go directly to:
facebook.com/settings?tab=business_toolsFind “African Lions”
You will see a list of all apps and websites connected to your Facebook account. Locate “African Lions” or “African Lions Tours” in the list.
Select and remove the app
Click on “African Lions” to expand its details. You will see the permissions granted (e.g., email, public_profile, pages_manage_posts). Click the “Remove” button.
Confirm removal and data deletion
A confirmation dialog will appear. Check the box that says “Also delete all posts, photos, and videos that African Lions posted on your timeline” (if available). Then click “Remove” to confirm.
Notify us (optional but recommended)
While revoking access on Facebook immediately stops data flow, we recommend also emailing privacy@africanlions.tours to request that we delete any Meta-sourced data already stored in our systems.
Important Note
Revoking permissions on Facebook stops future data access from Meta's platform. To ensure deletion of data already collected and stored in our systems, please also send a deletion request to privacy@africanlions.tours.
